Data driven water management for an uncertain future

The Spring Runoff Conference, hosted by the USU Water Initiative, is held annually on the Campus of Utah State University. 

The conference provides a forum for interdisciplinary sharing and exchange of ideas on water-related issues in Utah and the Intermountain Region.  Topics for the conference extend to all aspects of water science, ecology, policy, engineering, and management.  

We invite students, faculty, consulting and governmental agency professionals, and environmental and citizen organizations to participate.

Conference rates:  $75; (1 day: $40); Student: $25 (1 day: $15)

This year's Spring Runoff Conference features 3 plenary sessions with invited speakers:  New Research Approaches to Address Utah's Water Future;  Science in Society; and Robust Decision Making in a World of Uncertainty.  We will also have poster presentations and an evening reception / poster session at the Logan Country Club, with ample opportunity for discussion and networking in a relaxed setting.   The AWRA J.Paul Riley Student Paper Competition will be held March 29 afternoon.  All are welcome. 

This year's conference is supported by the Utah State University College of Engineering,  the S.J. and Jessie E. Quinney College of Natural Resources, the College of Agriculture and Applied Sciences, the  Utah State University Ecology Center and the Utah Water Research Laboratory.

The Conference will be held in the Eccles Conference Center on campus at Utah State University
